born in tokyo, saya is about as normal of a young woman as one can get. she is the eldest daughter of a mixed-race marriage. jiaying - her mother - was born and raised in hong kong and met her father off-chance during an entrepreneurial meeting. her father is native japanese and works as the japanese representative for an international trade firm.saya enjoyed being the only child in the household for many years. her mother had subsequently left her job to properly raise saya until she was 6. until the unexpected birth of their second child, keiji. it was only until after keiji had reached school-age that she returned to the workforce.entering elementary school saw a drastic change in saya's personality. from a shy but bubbly little girl, she became far more reserved. she disliked being around most of her classmates and retreated into herself. mocked for having a chinese mother, she became a target for teasing and harassment by the other children.it was around this time she sought refuge in anything she could get her hands on. books, magazines; anything that she could read and ignore her classmates.this went on for many years until keiji was born and saya helmed bringing him to school. by then, she had few friends and sought to keep her brother out of the same problems she experienced so many years before.junior high became foundational as she discovered an adoration for art and sewing. she found many friends within her school clubs and for a time she found refuge in these hobbies.in her adulthood she managed to graduate college and interns at a fashion magazine company.

alasdair is a foreign devil hunter assigned to the Japanese Special Division to assist with the hunt and execution of the Gun Devil and also to assist with the shortage of bodies within the Japanese government. being from europe, his reading comprehension of japanese is terrible in addition to his spoken japanese carrying a heavy accent.he is contracted through the Wolf Devil and can summon any limb or head of a massive wolf at will. in exchange, he is missing the four canines of his teeth. he replaced them with dentures to avoid exposing the nature of his contract.the wolf devil finds great amusement in Allen because of his reckless abandon, so there was little to sacrifice off his personage for his contract.

masya was born to urha in the deepest part of the black shroud in the valley of urth’s fount. the bajhiri clan consists of three families and the siblings of urha. masya is the youngest of three sisters. like many keeper of the moon families, they strictly adhere to a matriarchy with pyha as the clan leader. pyha is the mother of each subsect of the bajhiri clan.the middle sister, sena, is married. in order to not cast out her daughter, she informed her husband that he will exclusively practice monogamy and be exclusively her mate. in addition he will helm every hunt and pull his weight around the settlement. her husband is the only adult male within the settlement.the bajhiri clan chooses their leader on the color of her hair. it is within tradition to choose one who is closest to the moon and the goddess menphinia. pyha and masya show this trait - pure silvery white hair. this lead to masya to have been groomed for leadership since the age of ten years.all masya knows and takes a significant amount after her grandmother. including the disdain of the male sex because of the understanding that polyamory is an expected and common phenomenon among keepers. in addition, the woodwailers have otherwise soured relations with most miqo'te found in the shroud.masya began her journey in order to better explore her personality and know how to lead her family more effectively.after beginning her adventure, she took a carriage to gridania to be properly inundated to the numbers of the adventure’s guild and join the lancer’s guild despite being quite adept with pole arms already. one afternoon when she stood attempting to barter with one of the merchants for gear, she was approached by a male miqo’te. at first she ignored him yet he continued to follow her around until she snapped at him.
the man was s’hua tia and he introduced himself as a black mage looking for a party to travel with. whatever made him pick her out of every passing adventurer and person in gridania, she’ll never understand but she accepted his proposal.during the course of journey, she’s come to grow extremely fond of her traveling companion. whereas he was the more social and did most of the talking, masya took on the more manual tasks because of his aversion to physical touch. this also includes hunting and preparing meat for him to cook.her feelings for him are complex; she does not know whether or not these feelings for him are romantic or platonic. yet despite these complications, she cares for s’hua tia greatly and he acknowledges that is no easy task. in return, masya is rewarded with the same treatment. their friendly camaraderie and partner-in-crime is built up on banter and playing along to his playfulness.

raised in baldur's gate, the young aymer was always considered to be a bit of an odd bird compared to those of his race. he was antisocial and though his parents efforts were plentiful in smoothing over an uncouth amount of insults and stubbornness, they seemed to fail in actually correcting the problem. instead of being amongst his other high elf peers, he preferred to be around the animals and practice his archery. he would rather be in the wilds than in a stuffy room.as he grew older, his talent with tracking and archery also became adept. he eventually became a bounty hunter and a quite talented one despite his harsh words and dismissive behavior. as he reached proper adulthood, the price of his personality was too high compared to the services he offered.he was exiled from home and was sent out into the wilds of faerun. his talent for tracking, foraging, and other skills served him well and a penchant for conversing with animals assisted him every which way.it had been forty some years since his exile and his conversational skills with people have deteriorated significantly as he performs vigilante justice on passing circuses, releasing the captured animals. he occasionally goes into towns to release other captured creatures though only animals.he remains a bounty hunter to collect coin, but prefers the solitude of the forest and the cave he calls home.recently, he adopted a talking cat that calls herself zhera. he accepts this rather easily and chooses her as his familiar. often found riding on his shoulders, she is the voice of reason and better social graces than the moon elf.shortly thereafter, they are kidnapped onto a mind-flayer ship for reasons unbeknownst to them with a tadpole inserted into the left eye.
